Heaptalk, Jakarta — GoTo Financial’s cloud-based cashier app Moka officially released Moka Prime as its newest premium cashier device to assist the MSME players, spanning cafe, restaurants, and spa owners in gaining operations efficiency.
In terms of function, the Moka Prime cashier tool possesses multiple user-friendly features for customers and minimizes errors in the cashier’s transaction process. Highlighting aesthetic concepts, Moka Prime delivers several simplicities, including:
- A dual touch screen consists of a screen facing the cashier worker measuring 14.1 inches and a screen facing customers measuring 8 inches.
- Responsive touch screen, with 4GB internal memory and Quad Core processor
- Built-in battery to ensure operations run smoothly without worrying about internet and electricity disruptions. Moka Prime also embeds an offline mode feature to utilize the battery and internal cellular network.
- The QRIS dynamic provision, the transaction nominal will appear automatically. Cashiers and customers do not need to enter transaction values manually in the EDC tool, which is expected to avoid human error.
- Interactive feedback: Customer feedback can be monitored in real-time via the Moka Dashboard to be used as material for evaluating cashier performance.
“Apart from serving small businesses, we also serve large-scale businesses such as franchises. When we talk to business owners, they need sophisticated cashier applications and more professional and reliable cashier devices,” said Group Head of Merchant Services of GoTo Financial, Haryanto Tanjo.
Established in 2015, Moka provides digital cashier services that can support sales operations. Through its cloud-based Point-of-Sale (POS) application, the company targets MSMEs and enterprises by facilitating reports and analysis of overall outlets, tracking inventory, and receiving customer input for employee productivity analysis. Before officially merging with Gojek in April 2020, this cashier app had reached over 18,000 merchants in the country as of April 2019 and continues to uplift up to 50,000 merchants spread around 200 cities, with a majority reach in Java today.
