Heaptalk, Jakarta — Jenius conducted the Financial Class of Jenius: Financial Check-Up to Realize a Healthier Financial in Jakarta (12/21). During the agenda, the Certified Financial Planner of OneShildt, Agustina Fitria, delivered the main primary reasons for society to check their financial flow, including the current and future needs fulfillment and quick solutions discovery to resolve sudden financial problems.
In performing the financial check-up, Agustina underlined three primary points, including:
- The positive cash flow maintenance. The significant cash inflows are better than cash outflows.
- The availability of sufficient emergency funds. Emergency funds will be needed when someone has lost their source of income, such as being laid off or the bankruptcy of their company.
- The life risks preparation, such as illness and death. Society is encouraged to utilize life insurance.
Further, regarding the pension funds, Agustina explained the pension funds calculation for those still 35 years old and want to retire at 55. When someone is around 35 years old, living costs approximately Rp5 million monthly. However, the inflation that occurred will affect the cost of living when they retire, which is predicted to reach Rp10.9 million. Nevertheless, If their lifestyle is still the same, their expenses when they retire at around 55 – 75 years will reach Rp2.2 billion.
In response to this move, the Digital Banking Partnership Head of BTPN, Febri Rusli, conveyed, “This move was very appropriate to do a financial check-up at Jenius platform because this application has complete and relevant features in helping people manage their finances.”
On the other hand, Febry revealed that more than 28,000 members of the genius community who have taken this class continue to improve their finances. Based on Jenius data, around 96% of people save regularly. Data also reveals that approximately 83% of customers understand the importance of recording cash flow, and 73% of customers have allocated their funds to savings recommended by financial planners.
