Heaptalk, Jakarta — Mandiri Group investment arm, Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI), and Investible company have signed a term sheet to establish a strategically managed fund dedicated to the climate tech sector globally.
Around 30% of managed funds will be tackled to leverage the complementary power of the country led by President Joko Widodo as the fourth-highest population and SEA’s most significant economic growth. The CEO of Investible, Rod Bristow, perceived that the archipelago possessed significant growth potential, with a diverse and dynamic startup landscape, alongside the mature of deep tech and research-based ecosystem in Australia and Singapore’s established hub for commerce, proving the region’s potential to be a climate tech leader.

Investible has actively invested in Southeast Asia since 2018. In its portfolios, this company has injected fresh capital in multiple Indonesian startups, spanning Eden Farm, Rakamin Academy, BintanGo, and MyRobin – recently exited Investible’s Early Stage Fund 2.
As is well known, Investible has launched the Climate Tech Strategy in 2021. The company has reached over 3,200 investment opportunities across 20 countries and managed to invest in 19 early-stage companies.
