Heaptalk, Jakarta — Bandung City Government won the first best institution award from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, which was announced at the SPBE national coordination meeting at the Mulia Senayan Hotel, Jakarta (10/17).
Head of the Bandung City Communication and Informatics Department Yayan Ahmad Brilyana received the award on behalf of the Acting Mayor of Bandung Bambang Tirtoyuliono. Yayan hopes that the Bandung City Government will not be complacent about the award, but will instead improve its performance to support efforts in accelerating the electronic-based government system (SPBE) and Indonesia One Data (SDI).
One of the steps taken by the Bandung City Government is to integrate a number of applications through the Government Service Liaison System (SPLP). “Surely this (award) is an honor for us. This is clear evidence of our commitment to providing application integration to facilitate services to the community, one of which is through the superapp developed by the Communication and Informatics Department,” Yayan said in Jakarta (10/17).
Currently, there are 236 active apps managed by the Bandung City Government, consisting of 148 public service apps and 88 government administration apps. A total of 50 public service apps have been integrated, as well as 36 government administration apps.
Yayan added, “In the future, our challenge will be the development of a data warehouse and superapp which is being carried out by the Communication and Informatics Department which is a shared responsibility, especially in providing the data needed by all regional apparatus.”
Integrating 2,700 data center sever rooms
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Communication and Informatics Nezar Patria said that in accelerating the implementation of SPBE, every ministry and institution needs orchestration with clear, directed, and measurable authority. One of the measures taken by the Ministry is to integrate and provide interoperability of 2,700 data center server rooms and 24,000 apps managed by ministries, institutions, and local governments.
Nezar said, “Other measures include ensuring resource capacity and community participation in utilizing the infrastructure and SPBE built by the government.”
For this reason, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics is ready to collaborate with relevant ministries, institutions, and stakeholders to organize SPBE and present the supporting policies in accordance with applicable legal corridors.
“As a follow-up in the development of SPBE, its implementation must be accelerated and have concrete outputs, outcomes, and impacts until the end of this administration’s term. This needs to be done as a strong foundation for the sustainability of SPBE in the next government period,” concluded Nezar. (Translated by Sinta)
