Heaptalk, Jakarta – Southeast Sulawesi Government promotes the implementation of e-government to optimize its public services, one of which is by the optimization of the government administration program through an integrated e-sign system.
This measure is aligned with the instruction of Acting Governor Andap Budhi Revianto, which was delivered to the Regional Secretary, Asrun Lio. In order to manifest this mandate, Asrun has completed the amended project design (RPP) to optimize the government administration system by adopting an integrated e-sign.
“RPP has passed the seminar assessment at State Administration Institution (LAN) during the national leadership training Level I, Generation LVIII Year 2023,” stated the Regional Secretary Asrun Lio, on Wednesday in Jakarta (09/20).
Asrun, who also was the former Head of Education Department for Southeast Sulawesi, conveyed that the process of completing the RPP also faced no considerable challenge. In its preparation, the measure has been stipulated in Indonesia’s regulation and in the regulation released by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights concerning the inbox and outbox system.
“In this era, which was driven by technology adoption, the urgency to carry out modernization towards government administration through e-government is critical. Moreover, the Central Government also has released the relevant regulations, such as Law No. 19 Year 2016 which was released to amend Law No. 8 Year 2008 regarding Information and Electronic Transactions known as UU ITE,” said Asrun.
Moreover, Asrun delivered this action aligned with the regulation issued by The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo) No. 11 Year 2018 regarding the organizing of electronic certification. These regulations demonstrated a clear framework to modernize the government administration system.
“This decision is a great leap to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the administration system, as well as correspondence activity at the regional level,” conveyed Asrun. He perceived that this action not only can transform the government administration system but also become a pioneer in the implementation of e-government to create effective, efficient, transparent, and responsive government.
