Kemenpora calls for young generation to realize Indonesia Gold 2045 in the 96th anniversary of Youth Pledge Day

Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) held a celebration to commemorate the 96th anniversary of Youth Pledge Day which falls on 28 October 2024. Taking place at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta, the celebration is considered as the effort to develop young generation’s potency.

The Minister of Kemenpora, Dito Ariotedjo, in his opening remarks, stated, “We invite young generation to revive the spirit of unity which is stated in Youth Pledge. This event is a critical moment to commemorate the spirit of our predecessors and invite the entire young people to support Indonesia in achieving Indonesia Golden 2045”.

To enliven the celebration, several agendas were implemented, including Youth discussion, leadership workshop, and traditional art performance. A great performance of well-known musicians was also delivered by inviting Armada, Ucupop ft. El Rumi, Sintya Marisca, and Andi Rianto and Magenta Orchestra. Moreover, the celebration of the 96th anniversary of Youth Pledge Day was also enlivened by the birthday celebration of Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.

Through this celebration, the Ministry aims to highlight the importance of youth contribution to embody Indonesia Gold 2045. Kemenpora hopes to drive the young generation to be more active in exercising, maintaining health, and contributing to social development. With the spirit of unity and collaboration, young people are expected to encounter today’s challenges and contribute to assisting Indonesia in achieving Indonesian vision.
